YOUR SAVIOR

God does not just see us as part of the number. We actually count

The gospel is not just an event, but the reality of anyone who believes. He died, we died, He was buried, we were buried, He rose and we rose (See Colossians 2:12). In salvation, the mindfulness and intentionality of God towards each and every man is revealed. Jesus did not die for just the sins of the world, He died for your sins.

The priestly ministry of Jesus is not just generic, but specific. His blood is potent enough to erase your past, exempt you from the wrath of God and secure eternal life for you. This is why Jesus is your lord and PERSONAL savior. He saw your helplessness, the permanent separation from God awaiting you and He decided to come as your ransom.

He is aware of your peculiar struggles and made provision for the remission of those things by His sacrifice. Your sins, even your sins are forgiven. In the story of the woman caught in the very act of adultery, amidst the multitude of accusations, Jesus spoke to her. In Jesus’ conversation with the Samaritan woman in John 4, He shows that He is interested in our lives, even the past we don’t want to expose to anyone else. Again, with the woman with the issue of blood, we see a personalized experience.

Jesus is particular about each one of us, to the point of knowing the very numbers of the strands on our hair. He is the shepherd that leaves the ninety nine to go after the one, because He doesn’t see us as part of just a number, we actually count. He knows us by name and died for each one of us and this is why salvation is a personal decision. He is El-Roi, the God that saw, the God that sees.
